Superior Products began in the early 1930's as a brass foundry located in northeast Minneapolis.As Prohibition was ending, nearby breweries asked Superior to make beer parts for their customer's use. Superior complied and found that an expanding market for beer related parts existed. The more items Superior manufactured, the more business it gained.

In 1936, the first Superior catalog was printed and given primarily to beer distributors to pass on to their customers. Many products were added to our inventory each year, and Superior has evolved into a mail order business mailing millions of pieces per year.

As the beverage and restaurant industry grew, so did Superior. We worked hard to develop even greater value as we introduced Superior private label equipment. In October of 1999, Superior Products was purchased by U.S. Foodservice™ thus providing customers in the food and beverage hospitality industry a one stop shopping alternative.
